Scooter In The Chat Room…

To understand me…

My balance was impaired and I carried pain down and through my neck and left limb, day and night.

The brain is an incredible power source for the entire body. The main stem from the brain is the spinal cord that has nerve endings sprouted from the sides of it. The brain is like a highway of nerves coordinated to control movement, sensation, emotion, and so much more.

To understand what it is like to be me with a brain injury is only to have lived the same life. I suppose the best explanation is in “Missing Frames: Memoir of a woman living with hidden disabilities”.

Book lover’s paradise…
